Job Description

This position is a multi-skill position with emphasis on Life Safety Systems controls skill area. This motivated team player will possess a basic knowledge of automated monitoring & control systems, AC/DC electrical wiring systems and basic electrical theory, preferably within the high tech/ semiconductor industry. This position provides vast opportunity for advancement both technically and in position.


You will be responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Assist plant personnel with testing and commissioning of LSS hardware and equipment
  • Insuring that LSS hardware and equipment is installed per customer's specifications
  • Document, compile and report any installations that do not meet customer's requirements
  • Attend all customer mandated meetings, trainings, etc.
  • Work well within a multi-discipline field team

Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of electrical schematics and electronic controls.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to take direction.
  • Good knowledge of AC & DC electronic circuitry.
  • Electrical understanding of relay logic and analog signal loop theory
  • PLC / SCADA software experience is a plus.
  • Self motivated individual - able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, digital multimeter and standard electronic test equipment.
  • Must be computer literate, familiar with MSExcel, Outlook and other MSOffice applications.
