Job Description

Logistics Manager
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
logistics and supply chain management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a
crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products to meet
production schedules and customer demands.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain process, including inventory management
• and distribution logistics.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers to
• optimize costs and ensure reliable delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Implement strategies for efficient inventory management and control to minimize excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and
• coordinate logistics to support manufacturing operations.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and on time delivery of products.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping and customs
• regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• within the logistics function.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel
• to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
• (5+ years) in logistics management within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in logistics software (ERP systems, warehouse management systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze
• complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
