WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in Brooklyn, New York.

Our client is looking to hire a Mammography Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads!

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 8am - 4:30pm / 8am - 6:30pm/ 8am - 5pm.
\n

• Operate mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to company policies and protocols.

  \n
\n

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.

  \n
\n

• Use equipment adjustments (compression, exposure modes, filters, etc.) to produce optimal images.

  \n
\n

• Monitor patient well-being during exams, addressing discomfort or medical concerns as needed.

  \n
\n

• Guide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns.

  \n
\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

  \n
\n

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.

  \n
\n

• Active state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.

  \n
\n

• BLS certification required.

  \n
\n

• Active New York State Department of Health (DOH) license.

  \n
\n

\n
