Job Description
				  Monarch Behavioral Health  is currently recruiting for a full-time 
 Licensed Play Therapist.   The Licensed Play Therapist is responsible for providing high quality therapeutic services to child and adolescent clients across the state of Texas, in both the in-office and telehealth settings. The Licensed Therapist’s therapeutic approach shall be rooted in the practice’s values, including providing a warm, safe judgement-free environment where clients feel supported talking openly about the challenges they face, growth can be cultivated, and suffering is reduced.  The Licensed PlayTherapist should have, or be in the process of developing, a  niche specialization in the area of child and play therapy using evidence-based modalities appropriate for the population.  
 The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Texas as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist and has at least 2 years of experience providing direct care, preferably in a private practice environment.  They must also be well-organized and detailed in their approach to their work.

 SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS -  Monday – Friday, 30-32 hours per week with sufficient flexibility to meet client needs including  Therapists must work either 2 evenings per week (4-7pm) or 1 evening + 1 weekend day (6 hours) to accommodate clients’ scheduling needs. 
 -  This role will see an average of 25 clients per week. 
 
  
 LOCATION  This position is primarily office-based (60%); but some work may be performed from home (up to 40%). 
 GENERAL DUTIES -  Consult with their assigned clinicians as weekly or needed, providing effective and ethical interventions 
 -  Reviews staff schedules and ensures they are meeting their caseload requirements 
 -  Provides new employee training and orientation and ongoing support 
 -  Participates in interviewing and hiring activities 
 -  Audits and evaluates and verifies employee performance 
 -  Identifies staff development and training needs
