Hunton Services Plumbing Division is seeking a Plumber Apprentice to join our growing team in Houston, Texas. This entry-level role is designed for individuals seeking to build a career in the plumbing and mechanical trades while gaining hands-on experience on commercial projects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Work on heating, water, and drainage systems from rough-in through final installation.
• Support journeyman plumbers and project teams with daily tasks, calculations, and documentation.
• Research plumbing and HVAC equipment to support project requirements.
• Communicate with vendors and participate in training or technical learning sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company safety standards.
• Show initiative, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial plumbing environment OR pursuing a career in plumbing/mechanical systems with relevant technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• You must hold a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Punctual, reliable, and able to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Plumber's Apprentice Registration Card through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
• Maintain good standing by renewing the card annually.
