Position Description The Haslam Sports Group Business Analytics group works closely with the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew in various non-football areas of the business, providing access to information and insights to help optimize overall business operations of each club. Haslam Sports Group is seeking an entry-level, full-time junior data engineer. The primary duties include maintaining ETL processes, developing reports, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience related to these duties. Desired Qualifications Education/Experience : Demonstrated interest in data engineering through certifications, a college degree, or relevant work experience. Skills SQL (preferably Microsoft T-SQL) ETL (preferably SSIS) Reporting Platforms (preferably Tableau, SSRS) Object-Oriented Coding (preferably C#) Flow Charting Practical Experience/Duties Designing, developing, and supporting ETL pipelines. Developing and optimizing SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures. Processing, cleansing, and validating data accuracy. Developing and publishing reports. Gathering requirements and redesigning workflows/processes. Learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms. Other duties as assigned.
