Job Summary

As a Journeyman Plumber , you will leverage your technical skills to diagnose, service, and install plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all work complies with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
• Identify potential problems to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems for water, steam, chemicals, and fuel.
• Inspect high-pressure systems to ascertain malfunctions.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures and test joints and pipe systems.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for layout requirements.
• Review blueprints and building codes to determine work details.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipes and fittings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by explaining services performed.
• Participate in company-sponsored training and meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of verifiable plumbing experience.
• Tradesman or Journeyman License required.
• Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• GED or High School Diploma.

Working Conditions

• Field service environment with exposure to various elements.
• Local travel required.
• Extended work hours, including day and evening shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling and crawling.
• Natural or corrected vision for close and distance work.
