Janitor/Custodian - 1st Shift - $17/hr – Ypsilanti, MI

Qualifications:

• Clean the facility to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Operate floor sweepers to keep floors clean and debris-free.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Clean and organize office spaces to create a comfortable working environment.
• Perform other janitorial duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

As a custodian, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning the facility, running floor sweepers, scrubbing toilets, and maintaining the cleanliness of offices. You'll ensure that all areas are spotless, sanitized, and presentable for employees, visitors, and guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
