Independent Outside Sales Agent– MERLIN USA
Merlin Bike Gear is seeking experienced Independent Outside Sales Agents to represent our brand across multiple open territories in the United States.
We’re looking for agents who are already selling into motorcycle dealerships and have strong existing relationships in their territory. If you’re already calling on dealers with complementary product lines and can add Merlin as a premium apparel offering—this could be the perfect fit.
Compensation: 1099 – Commission + Bonus

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively visit motorcycle and Powersports dealers on a regular, consistent schedule.
Grow territory sales by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts.
Present, demonstrate, and educate dealers on the Merlin range—technical details, CE protection, styling, and merchandising.
Develop and maintain in-store displays and visual merchandising with dealer partners.
Act as a Merlin brand ambassador, building strong dealer relationships through trust and authenticity.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activity.
Respond quickly and professionally to dealer inquiries and service needs.
Collaborate closely with Merlin’s Inside Sales Manager and support team to drive performance and provide feedback from the field.
Maintain consistent communication with dealers regarding policies, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
Uphold ethical standards and represent Merlin’s values across all interactions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A minimum of 2+ years of sales and account management experience—ideally within the motorcycle, Powersports, or lifestyle apparel industry.
An Independent Outside Sales Agent with an established dealer network and is already actively selling into the motorcycle/powersports channel.
A solid network of contacts you can hit the ground running with.
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of personalities and build long-term relationships.
Confident presenting product and closing deals, with strong negotiation skills.
Passionate about riding—whether it’s road, ADV, cruiser, or off-road.
Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
An Independent Outside Sales Agent who brings a self-driven, professional approach to territory management.
Someone who Is known and trusted by their dealers, with a proven track record of performance.
