People First Employment is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Admin Assistant to join a vibrant HR team. Whether you're starting your career in HR or are an organized individual eager to support a fast-paced department, we'd love to hear from you!

• Start time: 8:00 am
• Pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 DEO
• Temp to hire

Essential Responsibilities Include:

As an HR Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR team by handling various administrative and clerical tasks. Your main duties will involve maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with onboarding, organizing HR files, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.

• Assist the HR team with general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and handling emails.
• Organize and maintain employee files, ensuring they are up to date and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Prepare and process HR documents such as employment contracts, benefits paperwork, and new hire documentation.
• Assist in managing employee records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other HR-related documents as needed
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and document scanning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred (experience in HR is a plus but not required).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent follow-through, attention to details, problem-solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Be able to maintain a positive outlook while exercising adaptability and teamwork in the workplace.
• Microsoft Office and Excel skills required
