Position Overview: As the Head Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the financial health of our dealership. This position requires a strong background in automotive accounting, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of dealership bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, sales, and related financial transactions.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS Service
• Strong understanding of automotive dealership accounting practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
