Job Description We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to support our facilities team in maintaining a clean, safe, and fully functioning environment. This role is light maintenance and repair work to ensure that all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and safety standards. Pay: $21.30/hr The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) - You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.
Key Responsibilities: Handyman/Maintenance Duties: - Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs.
- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door handles, and other fixtures.
- Report larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team or supervisor.
- Assist with furniture moves, equipment setup, and basic repairs as needed.
Additional Duties: - Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures.
- Provide support during special events or seasonal cleaning projects.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance roles.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and general building repair.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must be able to read write and communicate both English.
