A Holmes Lumber (a division of Carter Lumber) Garage Door Installer will assist in installing new overhead doors & operators, removing overhead doors & operators for replacement, and assist in installing rolling doors and dock equipment. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
Requirements:
+ Previous garage door installation experience
+ Strong knowledge of building materials and tools
+ Possesses the ability to work under time constraints
+ Possess strong math skills
+ Ability to follow directions both written and verbal
+ Ability to problem solve
Responsibilities:
+ Installation
+ Replaces or installs garage doors using the appropriate tools.
+ Analyzes jobsite, assists in running wires, assembling openers, cutting angles, and installing seals.
+ Supports a safe work environment.
+ Customer Service
+ Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship.
+ Knowledge & Training
+ Responsible for acquiring the training needed to install garage doors safely and efficiently.
+ Responsible for becoming certified in the product/area that is being installed to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.
