Now accepting applications for a position with "The UPS Store" near Cherry Creek (700 N. Colorado Blvd., Denver). The ideal applicant should be flexible in hours worked including mornings, afternoons, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Store hours are from 8 to 6 Monday thru Friday, 9 to 5 on Saturday, and 9 to 3 on Sunday.
Please note that you must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for several hours. Must present a professional and groomed appearance at all times. Applicant should be comfortable working with computers, including basic Microsoft Office products, and Point of Sale systems. Training is provided for our software systems. Primary duties include assisting customers with their shipping needs, packaging various fragile items, private mailbox sales, mail sorting, creating/printing materials (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Publisher is a major plus), making copies, faxing, and general retail sales. General light cleaning and stocking/inventory will be required as well. Applicants should be comfortable engaging customers, building rapport, problem-solving, and helping to identify appropriate services/products to completely fulfill their needs. Seeking a friendly, self-motivated, outgoing person, that will mesh well with our current staff. Previous "The UPS Store" experience helpful. Applicant will be required to become a Notary. There will be extensive training (some online, but mostly on the job) that will require a desire to remain in the position long-term.
