Responsibilities:
• Open, close, restock, and maintain the café according to established procedures.
• Prepare and serve food, beverages, and specialty coffee drinks with precision and care.
• Greet every customer with enthusiasm, match their energy, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Upsell menu items and contribute to both individual and team sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including the dining space, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Actively promote the café by handing out flyers, offering samples, and encouraging positive customer reviews on Google and Yelp.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with the team and remain open to learning new skills and techniques.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to engage in conversations with clients in English at a conversational level.
• Strong customer service skills are required to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and adapting to challenges.
• Interest in contributing to a vibrant, team-focused work environment.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting while paying attention to details.
• Ability to stand continuously for up to 6.5 hours.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Proficient in basic math involving US currency for accurate transaction handling.
• Team player with a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• A positive and energetic attitude is essential for creating a friendly atmosphere.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing issues.
• Good personal hygiene and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Strong commitment to following directions, protocols, and rules.
