Description:

Our Design Assistants are responsible for supporting and assisting all designers in achieving overall design goals. They play an important role in the design department by ensuring continuity and quality of designs throughout the day to meet our customer’s satisfaction.

• Assists all designers in gathering and prepping floral products and other items necessary for floral arrangements.
• Identifies and understands all flowers and components relating to our designs
• Assigns, distributes and fills floral tickets to designers
• Assist designers in entering product requests
• Preps arrangements such as setting up the mechanics, basic greenery and cleaning of flowers
• Assist with design and operational projects to meet deadlines
• Assist designers with placing/transporting designs to appropriate place for delivery
• Complete weekly inventory of design supplies
• Ensures design areas are swept and maintained
• Helps coordinate product movement between locations
• Acts as a liaison between sales and designers on ticket clarification

• Follows direction.
• Withstands cold temperatures (32 degrees) for an extended period of time.
• Able to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Gardening or “love of flowers” preferred
