Job Overview
Ready Work Inc is seeking a Farm Shop Mechanic for one of our clients in the Arvin, CA area! The ideal candidate will Perform all types of maintenance and repairs on various farming equipment. Examples are, but not limited to, vehicles, tractors, booster pumps, implements, etc.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience required or a successful graduation of a Heavy Equipment Repair & Maintenance training
• Must have the ability to preform p/m services, misc, mechanical and electrical repairs , general hydraulic repairs and installations on various types of medium and large farm equipment.
• Must have an understanding of a basic hydraulic system and the components.

Must have experience making repairs on 12V electrical systems.

• At least one year of Welder I experience would be preferred.
• Must have the ability to perform basic welding repairs using a combination of machinery and tools in a shop
• Know and follow prescribed shop and field safety regulations and procedures. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must have a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV driving record and have own transportation with acceptable insurance.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

Essential Job Functions

• Support Farm Shop initiatives in improving and sustaining an effective maintenance repair program at all times.
• Preform various types of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and welding repairs on a variety of medium and large agricultural equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance services on tractor, implements and planting equipment.
• Assist co-workers in the shop and in the field.
• Effectively communicate between coworkers and management at all times
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times.
• Must follow directions from Manager / Supervisor.
• Support the shop and service truck 5S initiatives.
• Must follow all required safety procedures and guidelines.
• Lead by example the Division's Mission, Strategy, and Values.
