Job Description

Founder of AT Talent | Host of The Recruitment Rehab Podcast | Recruiting Senior Recruiters across the USA Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr About the Firm A nationally recognized, women-founded executive search firm headquartered in Dallas, TX, this organization was established by three industry veterans with over 90 years of combined experience from one of the nation’s top executive search firms. The firm partners with private equity–backed and middle-market businesses across the U.S., providing consultative, high-touch executive search services with the agility and urgency of a boutique. The firm has built a strong reputation for quality, ethics, and partnership — delivering executive-level talent solutions across Accounting & Finance, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Audit functions for growth-oriented organizations. Role: Executive Search Associate This role is designed for a driven, entrepreneurial recruitment professional who thrives in a consultative, full-desk environment. The Associate will work closely with senior partners on retained and engaged searches for private equity–backed clients, supporting candidate generation and engagement efforts while progressively developing into a client-facing, full-cycle recruiter. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team with national reach, a trusted brand, and a commitment to quality over volume. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior recruiters to execute executive search assignments across accounting, finance, and operations functions. Conduct research, identify target companies, and source senior-level candidates using advanced tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Apollo, ZoomInfo, AI platforms, etc.). Engage with and qualify C-suite and VP-level professionals, assessing technical expertise, leadership fit, and cultural alignment. Manage candidate relationships through all stages of the process — from initial outreach through offer and placement. Collaborate with partners on market mapping, outreach strategy, and interview preparation. Support client relationship management and contribute to business development efforts over time. Maintain meticulous documentation and data integrity across CRM and search platforms. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 2–3 years in executive search, professional staffing, or full-desk recruitment. (Outstanding delivery consultants or high-potential rookies will also be considered.) Market Exposure: Experience recruiting within middle-market, private equity–backed, or corporate finance environments is advantageous. Skillset: Exceptional communication, resilience, and time management; thrives in a high-urgency, results-driven culture. Mindset: Entrepreneurial, consultative, and self-managed — comfortable engaging senior executives and private equity investors. Location: Dallas, TX preferred (hybrid schedule: typically 1–2 days per week in-office). Compensation & Rewards Earning potential: Six-figure income achievable; typical individual billings of $350K+ per year. Commission: Tiered, paid twice monthly, with strong upside for high performers. Benefits: Full benefits package, paid training, and ongoing professional development. Training and sales incentive trips (including international travel). Regular team prizes and performance bonuses. Catered lunches on in-office days. Support from a dedicated administrative team to maximize recruiter productivity. Culture & Values This firm fosters an entrepreneurial, high-integrity environment where collaboration, ethics, and quality are paramount. Team members are trusted professionals who operate with autonomy and accountability — encouraged to think strategically, move quickly, and build lasting client partnerships. Core values include: Integrity & Authenticity – Always doing the right thing for clients and candidates. Quality & Partnership – Delivering excellence through deep, consultative engagement. Collaboration & Growth – Sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and celebrating success. Interview Process Initial video conversation with each of the firm’s partners (30–45 minutes each). Informal coffee or lunch meeting. On-site meeting with the wider team. Preparation Guidance Individual performance metrics or billings. Experience managing both client and candidate relationships. Examples of working with senior executives or private equity–backed businesses. How to balance urgency with a retained-level quality standard.
