What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, and plumbing) for commercial and industrial construction projects
Interpret project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate material and labor takeoffs
Solicit, analyze, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor quotes
Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and value engineering options for review
Collaborate closely with project managers, field supervisors, and company leadership to support a seamless handoff from bid to build
Track bid performance and maintain historical cost data to improve future estimates

The Ideal Candidate:

Mechanical estimating experience (HVAC and plumbing systems required)
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction drawings, and industry standards
