EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST
REMOTE- PST or CST hours
Long term contract (6 month with extensions)

 

Corebridge Financial has an immediate opening for an Email Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with a background in Financial Services being a plus.

  • PST/ Central but open
  • Email Specialist - more of a Junior/ Mid Level go into SFMC and crank out emails for us 5 years of experience 
  • Mostly focused on emails in Email Studio, Journey Build, Ampscript, HTML, CSS , Dynamic content logs 
  • Semi-heavy ampscript work that will need to be done along 3 lines of businesses 
  • High volume - we only have 3 people supporting 3 lines of business so we are doing 20- 30 requests a week (build an email and maybe an OFT) 
  • Just lost someone who retired 
  • A little automation would be helpful, CRMs and how those are integrated that would be a plus 
  • 2 rounds interviews
  • SQL, Javascript is nice to have 


Key Qualifications:
• Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing; 4+ years managing email campaigns.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget/Email Studio & other SFMC Studios), HTML, CSS, AmpScript, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript). Familiarity with CRM (SFDC) preferred.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality emails, OFTs, and digital media in line with our strategy and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and execute triggered email marketing programs.
• Optimize emails through A/B and multivariate testing (template, content, calls-to-action, timing, and frequency).
• Develop dynamic content using AmpScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Configure and deploy various email campaigns and journeys (one-time, recurring, triggered, or dynamic-driven).
• Adhere to a strict email campaign quality control process, including tasks like data cleansing, list management, and planning/building journey streams.
• Facilitate continuous improvement within the email marketing environment.
Skills/Experience:
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification (preferred).
• Experience with responsive email design and automated email journeys.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (SFDC) and other SFMC Studios (Automation, Mobile, Advertising, Personalization (MCP), Intelligence (MCI)).
• Knowledge of Aprimo Project Management Software.
• Experience implementing dynamic content using Ampscript is a must.
• Experience with email testing software (e.g., Email on Acid).
• High-level expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with list segmentation and large data sets.
• Knowledge of current email best practices and new technology.
• Experience with Claravine is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries and APIs is a plus.
