This role will sit at the Sweetwater Vendor Village in Fort Wayne, IN on a full-time basis. Because this role is embedded in Sweetwater's environment, familiarity with Sweetwater's products, services, culture, or processes will be a significant advantage. Candidates who have worked directly for Sweetwater or in close partnership with them are especially encouraged to apply.

Job Description



As an  Electro-Voice  Sales Specialist, you will report to the Director of MI Portable, while working in concert with the Key Account Manager for Sweetwater, and will be responsible for providing exceptional and proactive customer service and support for The Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS and Telex Brands. You will be a conduit for business production and sales support inside of Sweetwater.

Essential job functions include:

  • Support Sweetwater Sales Engineers to enhance engagement and sales growth while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Oversee performance tracking, resource allocation, and process optimization to drive success with Sweetwater in meeting or exceeding established goals and quotas.
  • Develop and build strong relationships all throughout the Sweetwater Sales team.
  • Develop and drive project creation that enables, motivates, and incentivizes Sweetwater Sales Engineers to lead with the Bosch portfolio.
  • Exceed sales budgets and critical business objectives.
  • Provide sales support materials, such as EASE models, bill of materials, quotes, etc.
  • Proactively manage Sweetwater opportunities and continuously search for more.
  • Conduct demos, host office hours, lunch and learn trainings, on-site events, as well as attend national tradeshows and internal company meetings.

Qualifications

:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years in a similar role in the Pro AV industry.
  • Capability to design an audio system for portable, installed or intercom sound.
  • Knowledge of DSP and its use cases.
  • In-depth vertical knowledge inside Education, Corporate, Hospitality, Sports, and Houses of Worship.
  • Must understand how to manage B2B Sales.
  • A proven track record of success and quota achievement.
  • Ability to establish credibility quickly with Sweetwater Sales Engineers.
  • Demonstrates strong work and business ethics with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven ability to build internal relationships and influence Sales Engineers across all levels of the portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication skills, which include both verbally and digitally with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functions teams to drive results.
  • Ability to establish growth plans while challenging our partners to outperform against the competition.
  • Experience with software applications including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams) and Power BI.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for tradeshows and company meetings.

Qualifications

:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Sales experience selling Commercial Audio, Pro-Audio, and Sound Reinforcement preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of audio and signal flow.
  • Hands on experience deploying professional audio systems.

Required Abilities:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds, more with assistance, for events or demonstrations.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of sitting, computer use, and video conferencing.

Additional Information



The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$103,000, with OTE of $114,000-$148,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
