We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to bring your specialized skillset to a thriving and forward-thinking company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical project management, budgeting, blueprint reading, RFI, change orders, scheduling and timeline management. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator, you will be a key player in our construction team with the following responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret project blueprints, ensuring all electrical installations align with design and safety specifications.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines, coordinating with other team members to ensure all milestones are met.
4. Prepare and manage project budgets, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track financially.
5. Handle RFIs (Request for Information), change orders, and other project documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
6. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project, leveraging your technical expertise to ensure all electrical systems are installed and functioning correctly.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
3. Experience with Electrical Vehicle Charging System Installations and/or Commercial Service/Design Build Projects.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
5. Strong experience with budgeting, scheduling, and project timeline management.
6. Familiarity with RFI processes, change orders, and other project documentation.
7. Master Electrician preferred.
