Sr. Director Influencer & Social

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Director of Influencer and Social Marketing to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. In this full-time hybrid role, you will spearhead all digital marketing initiatives, focusing on both earned and owned media. Your primary goal will be to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty through innovative social media and influencer strategies.

You will oversee influencer campaigns that include strategic gifting, compelling storytelling, and affiliate programs while managing the brand's online presence across various social platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives. This position involves leading a team of 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influencer & Community Strategy: Develop and implement influencer strategies for product launches and brand initiatives. Manage influencer seeding, gifting, and content creation to foster a vibrant creator community focused on retention. Build authentic relationships with influencers and engage the online community through active interaction and social listening.
  • Campaign Management: Lead comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand goals. Define and track KPIs to optimize campaign performance while overseeing social media initiatives, user-generated content, and experiential activations.
  • Social Media Strategy & Management: Create a robust social media strategy across key platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Manage content creation, scheduling, and publishing to maintain a consistent brand voice while growing an engaged follower base.
  • Earned & Paid Media: Drive ongoing influencer programs to boost brand visibility and generate engaging content. Collaborate with digital growth teams to balance brand awareness with performance marketing goals through paid social campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, particularly in campaign management.
  • A proven track record of executing successful social and influencer campaigns that enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
  • A passion for staying updated on social media trends, consumer behavior, and cultural insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to cultivate relationships.
  • A data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities; experienced in setting KPIs for actionable insights.
  • A proactive attitude towards scaling brands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of organization with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The capability to operate both strategically and tactically as a collaborative team member.
  • A history of managing others (associates, coordinators, interns) is preferred.
