The newly renovated Avante at Ocala Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Therapy Program Manager (PT, OT, or SLP) to be responsible for the overall management and efficient and effective operations of the in-house rehabilitation department . Monitors admissions and treatment schedules, tracks MDS assessment periods and data, and provides administrative supervision and case management.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong clinical skills regarding the rehabilitation process.

• Must have a strong working knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations

related to Nursing Home Administration and Reimbursement.

• Must demonstrate high integrity.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must demonstrate excellent judgment.

• Must protect confidentiality of information.

• Must have strong problem-solving skills.

• Must have ability to work with all levels of management as well as front-line.

• Possess basic computer skills.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or Master's Degree in an allied health field (PT, OT, or SLP) with a minimum of one to two years of management experience; or an Associate

Degree in an allied health field with a minimum of five years of management

experience.

• Current state licensure or license eligible.
