This will be the job for you. At the present time, we are looking for candidates to fill the role of Direct Support Professional as our company continues to grow! The right candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Previous experience is not necessary - Bring the right attitude; we'll train you for success!
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, personal care, community integration, daily living skills, etc.
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities.

Qualifications and Education:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- No previous criminal record
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (Offer by Sky Point, if needed)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Smartphone with data
Job Type:
- Part-time, Days, Evenings, and Weekends
Location:
- Job site is located in Allen County and surrounding areas. Applicants must be willing to travel outside of the Allen County area.
- Applicants must be able to travel to the Fort Wayne office for the new hire process, orientation, and as needed in order to stay compliant.
