OMG is seeking an experienced Digital Advertising Specialist to join our maverick group of creative minds. The perfect candidate for this position can work cross-functionally within the digital marketing and account management teams to create and execute digital/social campaigns, monitor performance, report, and communicate client results. Experience in the 2A, Outdoor, Hunting, and Fishing industries will be extremely helpful as you execute campaigns, optimize performance, and provide reporting - but is not required.

As a Digital Ad Specialist, you will support our clients and the team’s digital marketing initiatives that drive traffic, convert sales, and increase brand awareness. You should be very comfortable setting up, creating, and constantly optimizing campaigns through various channels such as Meta, Google, Programmatic, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other popular channels - not all channel expertise is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience/working knowledge with SEO, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.

Due to the highly collaborative nature of agency work, this job is not remote and is based in our office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up, Executing, and Optimizing Digital Marketing Campaigns: This involves planning and executing various digital ad campaigns such as SEM, ppc, social media, and display advertising.
  • Manage and Support Day-to-Day Digital Operations: Provide support in overseeing the agency's digital projects, including campaign budgets and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of tasks, and increasing conversions while focusing on overall brand KPIs.
  • Analyzing and Improving Digital Performance: Evaluating current and new client digital positions to make recommendations for enhancing performance or increasing conversions.
  • Conducting A/B Testing: Testing different variables within campaigns to optimize results and improve effectiveness.
  • Measuring and Reporting Performance: Monitoring the performance of digital marketing campaigns, analyzing results against predefined goals (ROI and KPIs), and providing comprehensive reports to clients and generating custom reports on request.
  • Identifying Trends and Optimizing Ad Spend: Staying updated on industry trends and adjusting ad spend and strategies accordingly to maximize performance.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicating with clients, explaining strategies, and presenting results through reports and charts.
  • Monthly Reporting: Generating reports for digital clients that provide additional data, identify performance trends, and provide recommendations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as design, content, social, and paid teams to improve campaign performance.
  • Providing Business Development Support: Assisting sales and service teams in assessing and recommending digital marketing campaigns and providing support throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Other Digital Marketing Duties: Embrace collaboration with the digital team. Undertaking any additional responsibilities related to digital marketing as assigned, including KPIs, reporting, and market research.
  • Supporting Sales and Service: Collaborating with sales and service teams as needed to ensure client satisfaction and campaign success.

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Experience in Digital Ad execution and best practices/strategies for optimization.
  • 2+ years of hands-on ad account management in an agency setting.
  • Experience with national or regional-level campaigns is a plus.
  • Highly analytical; able to understand all angles of Digital Marketing and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Experience with handling $100K+ Budgets and campaigns for various clients.
  • Experience in Data Analytics, Analysis, and Reporting.
  • Experience in tracking/UTM setups, debugging, and monitoring.
  • Experience working with third-party booking engines is a plus.
  • Highly detailed; able to analyze and identify conflicts, errors, or insights within large sets of performance to financial data.
  • Microsoft Excel and Google Docs experience necessary. Ad hoc reporting may require pulling from multiple data sources (analytics, budget, and call tracking for example) to generate client-facing reporting.
  • Experience dealing with B2C and B2B campaigns successfully, a plus.
  • Experience dealing with clients of the 2A, Outdoor, Hunting, and Fishing industries is a huge plus.
  • Elevated level of professionalism.
  • Tact when dealing with high-level clients (internal/external).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • A bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Media Analytics, or a relevant field is ideal.
  • Google AdWords and Analytics certified is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time, In-office

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-5

Pay: From $55,000 per year DOE
