Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Hemodialysis (Multi-Site)

 

Schedule: 3x12s | Includes 2 Saturdays Per Month
Note: Staff are generally required to complete a 3rd dialysis shift on scheduled workdays to ensure patient coverage.

On-Call & Stand-By Requirements

• Weekly Stand-By:  Minimum of one shift per week (19:00 07:00), Monday through Saturday.
• Monthly Sunday Stand-By:  One 24-hour Sunday shift per month (07:00 Sunday 07:00 Monday).
• Monthly Sunday Back-Up:  One 24-hour back-up stand-by shift per month.

Position Summary

We are seeking a flexible and highly skilled Dialysis RN to provide acute treatments across a multi-campus hospital system. This role requires travel between designated facilities to deliver life-sustaining renal replacement therapy in high-acuity environments, including Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Multi-Site Coverage:  Provide clinical coverage across four main hospital campuses (Denville, Dover, Passaic, and Newark).
• Acute Care Delivery:  Perform hemodialysis treatments in various settings, including bedside treatments in ICUs and dedicated dialysis units.
• LTAC Integration:  Provide specialized renal care within Kindred LTAC facilities at the Dover and Passaic campuses.
• Clinical Flexibility:  Manage a dynamic patient load, often requiring stay-late "3rd shift" completions to meet daily treatment volume.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure:  Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience:  Previous experience in acute hemodialysis or critical care is strongly preferred.
• Mobility:  Reliable transportation and the ability to work at multiple hospital campuses as assigned.
