JOB SUMMARY

Clean and maintain office location by doing regular cleaning tasks and duties. There will be tasks assigned by management outside of the daily expectations. This job will be a part-time position with the expectation of evening hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for garbage removal from main areas as well as office spaces available
• Vacuuming areas necessary
• Dusting and deep cleaning office spaces when necessary
• Window/glass cleaning- windows facing outside and on doors
• Mopping areas necessary
• Use of cleaning products- ex.- bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner
• Keeping track of cleaning supply inventory- stocking as needed
• Lifting and moving items- ex-toaster ovens, vacuums, desk chairs
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
• Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures
• Easily able to communicate with management and other employees
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
• Self-motivator who will finish all tasks needing completion

Qualifications for Janitor

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• Adheres to the code of conduct set forth by the company
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
The candidate is expected to work Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm. The role requires effective communication and physical abilities such as bending, lifting, and climbing.
