Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The CRM Email Developer is responsible for building, coding, and testing responsive HTML emails, push notifications, and SMS messages that engage millions of customers. This role involves close collaboration with design, engineering, and CRM strategy teams to deliver high-quality, dynamic communications using various ESP platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects across the Consumer (Cx) and Merchant (Mx) teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and code responsive HTML emails from scratch to support CRM campaigns.
  • Build, troubleshoot, and QA marketing and transactional messages for accuracy and performance.
  • Script dynamic content in Braze (Liquid) and Iterable (Handlebars) for personalized communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and CRM strategists.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for CRM initiatives.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com to manage tasks and timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in email production and development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS and understanding of email rendering nuances, especially in Gmail.
  • Hands-on experience with ESP platforms such as Braze or Iterable.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Monday.com, etc.).
  • Experience using QA and render proofing tools like Litmus or Email on Acid.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience using Figma to convert creative designs into functional emails.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and optimizing end-to-end QA processes for CRM communications.
  • Background in working within fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
