Overview
Central Ohio tax planning firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Consultant, CPA, Financial Advisor, or Tax Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires expertise in various areas including estate planning, asset management, and income tax efficiency. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data and advising clients on tax strategies to optimize their financial outcomes.
This position offers considerable growth as the Successful candidate will be expected to assume the role as Lead Consultant. Partial ownership to be awarded upon completion of the first successful year. This well-established consulting firm is located just 35 minutes from downtown Columbus.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years’ tax department and consulting experience in a regional or national CPA firm or financial advisory firm. Position requires high level tax consulting expertise and a desire to lead. Compensation includes an attractive incentive plan, competitive salary, and partial ownership.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough analysis of clients' financial situations to provide tailored tax planning strategies.
Advise clients to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
Assist with estate planning by providing insights on wills, trusts, and estate law.
Collaborate with clients and their advisors to manage their assets effectively while minimizing tax liabilities.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant information to clients.
Mentor junior staff members and assist in their professional development.
Requirements
Formal Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience in tax consulting and/or public accounting.
Strong knowledge of income tax planning strategies.
Proficiency in analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive reports.
Familiarity with wills, trusts, estate law, and asset management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
