We have an opportunity for a remote Corporate Credentialing Specialist reporting into our Headquarters location. The Corporate Credentialing Specialist coordinates and organizes ongoing credentialing and privileging of physicians and advanced practice professionals. Responsible for review, analysis and follow up of credentialing and privileging applications, maintaining strict confidentiality. Ensures compliance with federal and state agencies, organizational policies and accrediting and regulatory agencies. The successful person in this role will exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail, prioritization and analytical skills; and a team player mentality along with the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: Verifying and documenting expirables and managing communication to providers and primary facilities, notifying them of upcoming expirables Coordinating privileging requests Collaborating credentialing, OPPE, FPPE and privileging activities with Shriners medical staff Maintaining current knowledge of accreditation standards Qualifications: Experience: 1 year of hospital regulatory credentialing experience required 1 year of experience maintaining all required data in MD Staff, or similar credentialing database, required Proficiency in MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) Education: High School Diploma or GED required Associate's Degree preferred.
