The Copywriter plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the brand voice across all digital and print platforms. This position collaborates closely with the creative and e-commerce teams to develop compelling, on-brand content for the company’s e-commerce website, email campaigns, digital and print assets (including catalogs, look books, and invitations), and social media channels. The ideal candidate is adept at managing multiple projects, quickly adapting to brand voice and processes, and seamlessly working with various teams and stakeholders. They must excel in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while delivering content that is engaging, informative, SEO-friendly, and aligned with strategic branding goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Editorial & Content Page Planning:

  • Collaborate with creative partners, including the CMO, Design team, Production, Directors, e- commerce team, and sales, to determine seasonal content needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Merchants, Product Development, and Product Information teams to ensure all copy is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging.
  • Partner with Creative, Content, and Brand Marketing teams each season to transform high-level campaigns into editorial and content-driven website pages.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Outline content pages that support key product initiatives and collaborations, including collection launches, quotes, actionable tips, and how-to guides.
  • Develop detailed briefs for the Site and Creative teams to guide design and development efforts.

SEO Integration:

  • Work closely with SEO and site teams to identify seasonal topic opportunities.
  • Align SEO-driven insights with planned content pages.
  • Integrate SEO best practices throughout copy while maintaining the brand's distinct voice.

Brand Voice Management:

  • Evolve and maintain a fresh, approachable brand voice.
  • Develop and update brand voice and style guides.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to understand how other brands approach tone and voice across catalogs, websites, social media, and email.
  • Regularly inform the content team of evolving trends in tone and voice within the industry.

  • Flexible Hybrid Schedule (20 hours per week, in office schedule to be determined).
  • Demonstrate professionalism in communication, teamwork, and customer interactions.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards, punctuality, and professional appearance.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
  • Travel may be required (less than 20%) as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs to meet in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience writing and editing e-commerce product copy and marketing copy
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, or related field
  • Keen understanding of luxury voice and product copy best practices
  • Portfolio with relevant work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
