Description of Position:

The Office of Community Standards and Volunteerism & Community Engagement is currently recruiting for a Clerk Typist to provide quality customer service. This includes assisting with office projects, scheduling appointments, setting up meetings and typing correspondence.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• To provide quality customer service including assisting with office projects, scheduling appointments, setting up meetings and typing correspondence.
• To provide attentive customer service and assistance to students, staff, faculty and visitors who come to the Offices of Community Standards and Volunteerism & Community Engagement.
• To maintain the student conduct database and all files pertaining to students' disciplinary hearings. Communicate with other University offices to ensure sanction compliance and completion.
• Assist with maintaining fiscal management of Community Standards, VCE, and Shuttle Services budgets through Banner system as well as any grants acquired by the departments. Ensure contracts are uploaded annually and approved. Pursue required ITAPs and consultations for goods and services requiring such.
• Manage and complete all hiring and employment paperwork for all VCE student employees. Support and assist with the organization/execution of VCE programs and activities. Schedule space needed for programming via the 25Live system. Assist with maintaining community partner programs.
• Track Special Shuttle requests and bill appropriate parties for services rendered. Ensure payment has been received by requesting departments.

Salary:

• Range A09 Step 2 - 4 ($38,339 - $41,536)
