Job Description

Please note, this position included direct-store delivery & pick-up, counting and loading product, and issuing credits. Applicants with DSD, Route Sales, Retail, Management, or LTL experience will be highly considered. 
School bus drivers are also encouraged to apply, as our work occurs during summer / Christmas breaks.
OTR driver history not including any other relevant experience may not be considered.

TNT Fireworks is currently hiring seasonal drivers to deliver consumer fireworks orders beginning mid-June, and pick up unsold product from our wholesale club and “big box” stores throughout the Midwest over a 2 - 3 week period beginning July 5th.

Additional opportunities may include delivering to parking lot stands or tent, shuttling staged drop site trailers, and restocking high volume stores on the final week of sales.

Some type of customer facing experience is preferred over "no-touch" / long-haul / heavy equipment drivers, but interest will be taken in anyone with a can-do attitude, willing to get the job done timely and accurately.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Class A or B CDL w/ hazmat will be required, but any Class A or B drivers are encouraged to apply and obtain hazmat endorsement by June. We typically will reimburse you to obtain the hazmat upon successful completion of the season.
• Must understand technology, utilizing iPads for electronic logging, delivery tracking, and return credits. Understanding of basic computer skills and Bluetooth are a must .
• Must be able to lift up to 40+ lb and able to reach above head to properly stack and secure the load. No more than three moving violations in three years / two within the past year.

Benefits:

• Pay for deliveries vary by daily rate or mileage (whichever is greater), but great opportunities exist over a three to four week period. Motivated drivers who include the extra effort to work quickly will have additional opportunities for the most work.
• A company credit card is provided for fuel and hotels. Upon completion, up to $40 daily per diem is reimbursed to cover meals.
