Job Description

City Fitness is looking for Personal Training Coaches to safely and effectively execute individual and small-group fitness training sessions, in accordance with programming, techniques, standards and expectations established by City Fitness. With the appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance training, the PTC is responsible for helping individuals safely and efficiently reach their desired health and fitness goals.

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• The ability to moonwalk
• Nationally recognized personal training certification- Preferred
• Active CPR certification – Preferred

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Continual standing, walking/ frequent bending, reaching and occasional kneeling
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be physically fit enough to spot clients and correctly perform any exercise or movement included in the program.
• Requires full manual dexterity of the upper extremities including hands, arms and shoulders and unrestricted movement of both lower extremities, back and hips.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position which requires a minimum of 35 scheduled hours per workweek.

Compensation details: 10-85 Hourly Wage
