Starting Wage: $17.25 per hour + shift differential for evening and night shifts

Responsibilities

• Honoring the resident's choices and preferences
• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, declining health, or accidents by attending to their needs, such as showering, bathroom needs, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Help residents with ambulation
• Ensuring drinks, meals and snacks are available to the residents at all times
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining good skin health of the residents
• May assist with transportation for the resident's appointments
• Prevention or reporting of abuse, neglect, or exploitation
• Interacting with the residents alone or in a group setting
• Implementation and following of the residents care plan
• Documentation of the resident's daily cares
• Ensuring the resident's personal space as well as the household is clean and clutter free
• Provide a safe environment for the residents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to life and/or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work weekends and holiday
