Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll play a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories
Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed
Assist with minor procedures and specimen collection
Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, and basic lab work
Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations
Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Support front desk and scheduling as needed during peak times
Uphold infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
For CMA:
Current certification from AAMA, AMT, or NCCT
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
For LPN:
Current LPN license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of outpatient or primary care experience preferred
For Both:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfort with EMR systems (experience with eMDs a plus)
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care
