CDL-A Driver -Dollar Store Dedicated | $72K/Year | Home Weekly

Compensation & Earnings

Annual Pay:

• Average: $72,000/year ($1,400/week)
• Top Earners: $93,600/year ($1,800/week)

Pay Structure:

Mileage Pay (Based on Experience):

• 0-11 months: $0.46/mile
• 12-23 months: $0.47/mile
• 24-35 months: $0.48/mile
• 36-47 months: $0.49/mile
• 48-59 months: $0.50/mile
• 60-71 months: $0.51/mile
• 72-83 months: $0.52/mile
• 84-95 months: $0.53/mile
• 96-107 months: $0.54/mile
• 108-119 months: $0.55/mile
• 120+ months: $0.56/mile

Additional Pay:

• Unload pay: $230 per full trailer
• Backhaul pay: $50
• Training/ride-along pay: $150/day (during initial training period)

Route Details - Family Dollar Marianna Dedicated

Freight & Equipment:

• Dry van
• 100% touch freight (hand unload)
• Live unload, box by box with rollers
• Deliveries to Family Dollar stores (occasional Dollar Tree)

Territory:

• Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana

Weekly Activity:

• Average 1,600 miles per week
• 3 loads per week typical
• 1-6 stops per day

Schedule:

• Early AM deliveries
• May include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Home weekly with minimum 34-hour reset
• Not a home-daily or home-every-weekend position

Work Conditions:

• Physically demanding unloads required
• Must be willing to work in heat and various weather conditions
• Early morning and potentially overnight driving

Driver Requirements

Experience & Licensing:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months verifiable OTR experience
• DOT medical card (current)
• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Able to perform physically demanding hand unloads
• Comfortable working in heat and various weather conditions
• Strong customer service skills and patience

Home Requirements:

• Must have secure parking for truck and trailer at home
• Secure parking = your personal property OR gated location with two forms of security (guard + camera)
• No parking at FD stores, Walmart, or unsecured public locations

Availability:

• Willing to drive early mornings and nights
• Available for weekend and holiday deliveries as needed
• Committed to route demands

Orientation:

• Must bring 2 weeks' worth of personal supplies
• Will be sent to Marianna, FL for activation and training
• Will ride with experienced FD driver during initial training period
• Orientation location: Jacksonville (tagging site)

Training & Support

Comprehensive Onboarding:

• Paid ride-along training with tenured driver ($150/day)
• Direct support from FD Marianna team during activation
• Hands-on training before getting your own truck
