The Role As a BDR at ClearlyRated, you will fuel our top-of-funnel sales initiatives by setting qualified appointments for our account executives to close. This role has the opportunity to move into a full cycle closing role in the future, if successful. We have a clearly defined career ladder process that outlines the steps and criteria needed to advance your career within ClearlyRated, and you will receive this on day one. Our target markets are Mid-Market to Enterprise (50 to 2,000 employees) Staffing firms, Accounting firms, and Legal firms, but we also commonly sell into other industries like Construction, Insurance, IT, HR Services, and others.
This role reports to our VP of Sales directly but with planned growth, will likely report into a Manager of Business Development in Q1 of 2025. While ClearlyRated is an established business founded in 2003, with a recent capital infusion, we still very much operate like a startup, so things change quickly. We have a lot already figured out but we still have some figuring out to do. If that excites you, this may be the role for you as you'll have a direct hand in the company's future direction. The ideal candidate can prove a successful sales development background or success in a relatable field, is growth-minded, curious, crafty, tenacious, and is ready to take the initiative in our next phase of exciting growth!

Role Requirements - ~1 or more years of experience as a successful SDR/BDR or in a related field.
- Cold outbound experience is a must as this will be a healthy part of your day
- Growth-minded, coachable, curious, and eager to learn
- Flexible and open to change. We're a start-up, and priorities may shift as we grow.
- Entrepreneurial mindset. While we have a lot figured out, there is still more to uncover. You'll have the autonomy to try new things. As a front-line member of the sales team, you'll have a hand in our company direction.
