1RDG is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking Internal Bookkeeper with a strong desire to succeed and win to join our team of motivated and responsive professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounts receivable and payable functions
• Reconcile credit card accounts and inter-company accounts
• Enter client credit card payments in billing software
• Assist with payroll month-end entries
• Prepare monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations
• Manage month-end close process and general ledger review
• Reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts for accuracy and trends
• Vendor maintenance and 1099 reporting
• Respond to routine accounting inquires internally and with vendors/clients as needed
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of small business accounting/bookkeeping experience
• A minimum of an Associates degree in a related discipline
• Computer expertise including proficiency with accounting software applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and reliability
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Solid analytical skills and a sincere willingness to learn
• Willingness to learn new accounting software. QuickBooks online certification a Plus.
