Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth interviews with key individuals.
• Research historical, business, and personal background information to provide context and depth.
• Develop an organized outline, chapter structure and project plan.
• Write an accurate, engaging biography that reflects our voice, values and legacy.
• Edit and refine drafts in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure factual accuracy, proper acknowledgement, and high standards of storytelling.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Writing, Journalism, English, Communications, related field or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proven experience as a journalist, biographer or long-form feature writer.
• Exceptional interviewing, research and storytelling skills.
• Strong ability to capture personality, emotion and nuance in writing.
• Excellent grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Experience writing corporate or executive profiles preferred.
