Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Technician to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for various engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering concepts and a high degree of technical knowledge in using BIM software such as Revit, Bluebeam, AUTOCAD, and 3D modeling. The successful candidate will be working closely with our team of engineers and architects to develop detailed technical drawings and plans. Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Generate and manage BIM models using Revit, Bluebeam, AUTOCAD, and 3D modeling tools for various engineering projects.
2. Collaborate with project teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and procedures within the organization.
4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models.
5. Conduct quality control checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure adherence to design and drafting standards.
6. Provide technical support and training to staff members on the use of BIM software and tools.
7. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights as required.
8. Keep abreast of latest advancements in BIM technology and software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM Technician or in a similar role within a structural engineering firm
3. Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, Bluebeam, AUTOCAD, and 3D modeling.
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
6. Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong ability to problem-solve and innovate.
10. Continued education or certification in BIM technology is a plus.
