Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled BIM Manager to join our team who will be responsible for the creation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings and submittals for RenoSys stainless steel pools and other products using Revit and AutoCAD.

RenoSys Corporation is an Indianapolis-based aquatic designer, manufacturer, and contractor specializing in renovation and construction in the commercial swimming pool and aquatic facilities markets. For over 37 years RenoSys has been a proud industry leader in developing PVC and stainless-steel pool systems.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate project handoff meetings with sales staff to gain understanding of design requirements for each individual project.
  • Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings for coordination purposes between RenoSys products and project at large.
  • Analyze complex sketches, notes and other input to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete models and drawings with support from manager.
  • Attend and participate in design coordination meetings with pool owners, pool contractors and engineers / architects.
  • Manage multiple projects at once to ensure timely completion of design work as prioritized by Director of Design.
  • Create, organize and manage a detailed parts library to meet both standard and custom design configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and management regarding project status, due dates and issues.
  • Update design log daily for visibility to other team members on design status and lead times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of design experience utilizing CAD and Revit software.
  • Strong consideration will be given to individuals with swimming pool or complex metal fabrication design experience.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of commercial construction drawings with the ability to effectively navigate and locate specific pages, sections and details.
  • Experience using BIM software to develop 2D conventional drawings and 3D models.
  • Must be highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay self-motivated.
  • Must be coachable with an eagerness to learn about a niche industry.
