AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Behavioral Technician for our Brooklyn Junior Job Connection Center Clubhouse (JCC). The Behavioral Technician position has an annual salary of $40k a year and comes with FULL MEDICAL INSURANCE PAID BY AHRC NYC...NO COST TO YOU! AHRC's JCC Clubhouse, a community -based program, is looking for a creative, dynamic and community-focused individuals to provide direct support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and mental illness in an innovative community-based program. JCC Clubhouse is using a person-centered approach to create working communities that help individuals to successfully manage their recovery. Candidates would join a team of 3 staff to create a holistic community of recovery that is focused of supports in the areas of employment, education as well as health and wellness.

Essential Responsibilities:

Case management (25-30 people).

Individual vocational supports.

Engage individuals in the JCC clubhouse community as part of their rehabilitation.

Use the community to design positive interventions to deal with common barriers such as social isolation, poor self-esteem, anxiety, symptom management and poverty.

Outreach and recruitment.

Work in a team environment.
