Job Summary Summary: Ensures all audio visual requirements requested by clients are met and interfaces various types of audio visual, communication, and presentation technology. Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and timely responses to inquiries for space or service needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews customer and meeting planner requests from the reservation system and provides equipment/assistance as needed. Gathers information from email and phone communications and distributes to the assigned contact. Provides problem escalation support and resolves issues. Follows up on service challenges and works with the manager for corrective actions. Provides technical assistance for meetings and events requiring tech services. Follows SOPs for audio-visual support, as provided by the AV Manager and Director of Technology and Operations. Adheres to preventative maintenance routines and reports findings. Changes data projectors, lamps, and cabling associated with integrated systems. Reviews equipment operation with customers to ensure understanding and comfort. Assists in operation and troubleshooting of AV equipment. Educates staff and customers on AV equipment basics. Maintains metrics related to equipment inventory and repairs. Communicates with team members and service partners for updated information. Assists with conference room setups and breakdowns. Keeps storerooms organized and manages inventory. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of one year supporting audio visual for events. Proficient in computer skills and office technology.
