Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities for this Position - \n Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the Micro-Electronics value stream in a Low Volume, Medium Mix, High Value manufacturing facility for spaceflight hardware. The successful candidate will work in a small team environment and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacturing of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities:
\n - Provide engineering support for the identification, control, and disposition of nonconforming material
\n - Support manufacturing operations and provide effective communication to cross-functional teams during development, launch, and production phases
\n - Create, monitor, and control production processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation
\n - Support the design and development of production tooling
\n - Provide process knowledge and training to production team members
\n - Evaluate and disposition non-conforming material
\n - Perform equipment installations, decommissioning, preventative maintenance, upgrades, modifications, and repairs
\n - Demonstrate the ability to learn and manage multiple processes and unique equipment
\n - Drive continuous improvement of processes in a low rate production environment
\n - Support labor and tooling proposal estimates
\n - Utilize basic CAD for design and documentation purposes

Skills and Technical Requirements:
\n - Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534 standards.
\n - Experienced with production processes including die attach (BESI/MRSI), flip-chip, gold and aluminum ultrasonic wire bonding, and mechanical screening
\n - Materials selection and design for MCM (Multi-Chip Module) manufacturing
\n - Microelectronics packaging design and qualification testing techniques
\n - Proven experience in supporting a manufacturing environment
\n - Strong ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
\n - Proficiency in creating and controlling production processes and documentation
\n - Experience in evaluating and addressing non-conforming materials
\n - Capable of performing equipment-related tasks including installations and maintenance
\n - Demonstrated ability to improve processes in a low rate production setting
\n - Basic CAD skills, preferably with Creo
\n - Knowledge of cleanroom, ESD, and FOD procedures
\n - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n - Ability to work effectively in a small team environment

Combined Salary Range USD $103,254.00 - USD $114,547.00 /Yr.
