Overview Our client is a privately held financial institution that is centered on commodity trading and participates in the global energy market. The Accounting Manager will assist in preparing the books and records of the firm including the monthly close process, ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and prepare financial statements. Responsibilities Review and prepare the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP Manage the month-end closing process and work with the accounting outsource provider to complete journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting Analytical review of financial and management accounting information and presentation of analysis and commentaries Liaise with external auditors for consolidated and statutory audits Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5-7 years of accounting experience Background in public accounting CPA required Commodities experience a plus Salary Salary range: $100,000-$150,000 Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr Arrow Search Partners
